I downloaded the Windows x64 msi file and installed Inkscape 1.1. Although the installation process was in English, I now find the language for Inkscape is in Swedish. According to the help file, I should be able to set the language to English through the preferences, but cannot find anywhere to do this. Searched for 'Language' and 'Språk' but nothing.
I then deleted 1.1 and downloaded and installed the .925 .exe file and installed using that. Once again the installation was in English, but the programme default language is in Swedish and again there seems to be no way of changing that through 'Egenskaper' (Preferences)
As a new (as in first time today) user to fall at the first hurdle is frustrating. Can anyone please help solve this? I am running Windows 10 Pro x64.

Hallelujah! Thankyou. I removed 0.95.2 version and reinstalled 1.1 version and eventually found the language change as you described. Closed and restarted and all in English now, thankyou!
