    I noticed that when groups are moved in Inkscape that a transform + translate is applied. I found the easiest way to remove the transforms is to ungroup them after moving and then grouping them again.

    Is there an Inkscape setting that instructs the internal elements of the group to redraw the d= values so that a transform/translate is avoided?
