Hello, I frequently turns the canvas by accident with middle click and ctrl. Even if it sounds unlikely for you, thats happens frequently for me. Maybe some uncontrolled gesture inherited from other softwares.
I didn't found canvas rotation documentation in the manual.
I would like to disable this behaviour.
Ideally this, ctrl + slide middle click, can be assigned to zoom instead. The canvas rotation is nicely smooth, but I prefer this smoothness for zooming !
Under Preferences->Interface you can "Lock canvas rotation by default" which won´t prevent rotation from the bottom right value field by scrolling with the mouse.
