The shape I'm trying to replicate is the pointy shockwave-like shape at the top of each element (i.e. everything but the round pellet). While I can pull together a decent approximation of the shape, I can't find a way to make a version with an inner gradient like the ones in the image.
As far as I can tell, Inkscape can't handle gradients along paths (a limitation of the SVG format), so I can't do that. I tried to nest smaller, different-colored versions of the shape inside the main one and blur them to give the illusion of a gradient, but I couldn't find a way to evenly distribute them. I could just make the inner shapes by hand, but I want this to be as exact as possible, and would prefer to save that as a last resort. Can anyone help?
I am trying to make a certain shape in Inkscape. It is hard to describe, so here is a picture containing multiple examples of it:
