Beginners' Questions How do I mark points on a SVG image and where is marker shape found? How can I reduce image size by 10%?

    2. Export or inside Inkscape? A) AtFile->"Export PNG image…". B) Object->Transform->Scale

    OK thanks, but I am not having success with marker shape/size.  Node tool N, how do I access it?

    1. You didn´t tell if scaling for "Export PNG image…"

    sorry polygon, I would have if I knew what  'scaling for Export PNG image meant ' ?? You helped me greatly with resizing image thank you, but I am having trouble accessing markers.  Maybe I am calling it by the wrong name.   I want to mark single points on an 2D image so that I can measure their exact location on x,y planes..

    There is an extension that exports the coordinates: https://github.com/jwcliff/Inkscape_Exportxy

    I would simply use the bezier pen to make a path of straight segments to each point and export.
