The home page of inkscape.org says it is open source, cross platform (explicitly mentions Mac OS X). But when I go to download page, it lists
Download for Linux
Download for Windows
Source Code - Says download source code. So do I download the source code and compile or whatever to make it a .app?
I need a Scalable Vector Graphics that lets me export files in format supported by Corel Draw. At least, .svg and one .jpg format for previewing the things I create.]
I tried using Vectr. It doesn't have any features. Scribus is good but the output is either print or PDF. I can't give PDF to my clients. They expect CMYK printer versions ready for printing press. It is hard to create color plates on Scribus.
Cmyk is not yet a feature in Inkscape. So if you need that, maybe it is better to look at a commercial program. I heard people use Affinity. They have a 90 days trial at the moment.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
