I see. So I deleted the 'ENT' and typed in some new text: MSG and I found when trying to position the letters as text in the center of the red border, the text would 'jump' to one side or the other. I googled this and didn't exactly find what was causing this. How can I stop the 'auto-adjusting' so I can place the text exactly where I want it?
Is there any way to get finer adjustment in the Y axis? I have it set to 0.1 now (via the dropdown list) and when I click the spin button for the Y axis the letters jump above or below the horizontal center of the red border. Am I able to set something like 0.05 adjustment in the Y axis to better center the letters?
Why so complicated? Select with Select tool and use keyboard->up-/down-arrows (with alt-key for smaller increments) - or use Align and distribute tool.

Simply type the text where you want - but be aware the canvas is tiny as the text is just 2,2mm in height.
