Sorry but something is wrong with your system. Drag+drop a saved image/screenshot and paperclip is working here all the time. And a screenshot of 104x231px? Who can read this?
Which one are you referring to. If you mean the restretto image, it was only meant to show you it found two pages
And that you can use the paper clip is a good thing. That I can not, means you need to fix something. Are you also using Fedora and Firefox (gecko)? By change is the forum only a "Blink" (Brave, Chrome, Chromium, Vivaldi) site?
I made up a sample svg to show what I need. I switched to Blink (Brave Browser) and dragged and dropped the file into the paper clip. Brave opened up a new tab with the rendering in it. Writing the file name by hand in the block opens the endless file open dialog as is does in Firefox.
But I see its name written in to the right of the paperclip, so maybe ...
Figured out why I cold not get this it work at first. I had just created a YUGE fill document in Master PDF Editor. To edit/move/justify text after creating a text field, you have to have to first click on the hand, then on the "Arrow", then click the text block. In Inkscape, clicking on the arrow then the block is a whole different function. You have to click on the "A", then click dead center on the text block, then all the editing tools come up. It was frustration, until I broke the Master PDF Editor habit. A hand/eye coordination thing.
Tip: With the Select tool active (the 'Arrow' icon at the top of the tools, or press F1) you can generally double-click on objects to both select them and switch to the relevant tool. So double-click on some text and the Text tool will be activated (and the text cursor placed where you clicked), no need to select the text first then manually switch tools.
Hi All,
Fedora 34
inkscape-1.1-4.fc34.x86_64
How do I center justify multiple lines in a text block?
Picture worth a 1000 words: Text Block
Both lines are left justified
Many thanks,
-T
Edit: I can not paperclip it: Error! No connection adapters were found for 'file:///home/temp/Screenshot_2021-07-20_15-17-01.png'
And it opens an upload file manager diaglog over and over.
I will try putting it in a link
Please upload the image into the forum via paperclip icon or drag+drop. Thanks.
The paper clip does not work in Fedora.
This is the result of drag and drop: No connection adapters were found for 'file:///home/temp/Screenshot_2021-07-20_15-17-01.png'
A url gives a constant popup constant pop up from URL paperclip

I can´t determine 2 pages at this tiny screenshot. I´m on macOS/Safari - no issues here regarding uploads.

"I´m on macOS/Safari - no issues here regarding uploads." one down (OSx/safari); one to go (Fedora Linux/all of them) :-)
RIght under my nose! Thank you!
