I'm trying to bend or curve the rectangle shape in Inkscape. I tried Bend Path Effect, but it only locks in horizontal center of my shape and I can't figure out if it can move or not...
I believe those filters are just existent for bitmap images. When your goal is a vector graphic you need 2 shapes filled with gradients and one with a drop shadow like so for instance:
