I want to get from here

    to here

When cloning the group, and flipping it horizontally, I get the following (see below). I wonder whether it is possible to flip everything except for text objects or another workaround for getting the result shown above.

I was able to get the desired effect by clicking in each text object and flipping each of them horizontally but I'm pretty sure there is a way to accomplish this without the need of flipping each text object.

I also tried selecting all the text objects by using "Find" (Ctrl + F). However, the text objects are misplaced (see below).

I think this can be accomplished if only it were possible to make Inkscape execute a function in each object under a selection. Because, thus I can select all text objects with "Find" (Ctrl + F) and then instruct Inkscape to execute "Flip horizontally" in each of the selected objects.

A common problem. Here's how I tackle it.  After you select the text objects, go to the Transform dialog [ctrl+shit+m] and then the Scale tab.  Set the horizontal scale to -100% and select the box "Apply to each object separately".  This reverses each text object without changing the position.

Maybe a good case for the Scatter extension:

Both  solutions work flawlessly. Thank you very much! Inkscape doesn't stop surprising me.

Hi there does anyone know how we can do this using the CLI?
