I was willing to use my CNC to engrave wood based on it... unfortunately I quickly realized that the drawing was not made by a single thick path but by 2 paths filled (see below the 2 paths):
My wish is to get only 1 path in order to engrave it. While visually it sounds not so complicated, I have searched and searched again without success to find a way to do it. I even ended up exporting to PNG and then vectorized back through centraline algorithm (without much success as the quality decreased a lot). So here I am, the community may point me to a function that I don't know which could achieve what I want
Hello
I have a nice SVG file of a fox drawing:
I was willing to use my CNC to engrave wood based on it... unfortunately I quickly realized that the drawing was not made by a single thick path but by 2 paths filled (see below the 2 paths):
My wish is to get only 1 path in order to engrave it. While visually it sounds not so complicated, I have searched and searched again without success to find a way to do it. I even ended up exporting to PNG and then vectorized back through centraline algorithm (without much success as the quality decreased a lot).
So here I am, the community may point me to a function that I don't know which could achieve what I want
thanks for any hint
