How are y'all doing š? I use inkscape to draw figures of my math lectures and I find myself doing a lot of repetitive works on styling. So... I have a question about storing a set of frequently used styles and applying them by just click a hot key for it. Some kind of style shortcut manager. I wondering whether it's possible or i need to install some plugins for this.
Ā
For exĀamĀple, when I pressĀ sĀ andĀ fĀ siĀmulĀtaĀneĀousĀly, my shortĀcut manĀagĀer will apply a solid stroke and a grey fill to the curĀrent seĀlecĀtion. When I want the stroke to be thick, I pressĀ s+f+gĀ toĀgethĀer, whereĀ gĀ stands for thick (as theĀ tĀ key is hard to reach).
This way, every styling propĀerĀty corĀreĀsponds to a key:Ā sĀ stands for norĀmal stroke,Ā fĀ for gray fill,Ā gĀ for thick,Ā aĀ for arrow,Ā dĀ for dotĀted,Ā eĀ for dashed, etc. H
I know one can copy the styles of other objects but what I want is some shortcut manager thing.

I found a GitHub repo about this but I'm wondering if there's an extension for this so it will support Windows operating system. GitHub: gillescastel/inkscape-shortcut-manager
Hi, Will8216, while not a "style manager" per se, why not create a collection of your needed objects, and save them as their own template?
You could build/alter this as you wish and re-save whenever desired.
You could "house" your needed svgs there and open a separate Inkscape svg file and copy styles back and forth from you template into your seperate, distinct file, applying your styles asĀ needed into you new svg file., just as mentioned above.

Maybe copy&paste style from kind of library outside the page will help (or Symbols)?
