It used to be simple inserting text into arbitrary shapes. Just copy the text, select the shape and click on Flow into Frame. I have recently installed Arch Linux and with that comes Inkscape 1.4. But this simple feature does not seem to work. Is there some other way to get text into arbitrary shapes? I am not able to get the text even into a standard circle!

Oh ok. I have to select both the textbox and the shape together. I was not doing that, hence it was not working. Thanks a lot for showing this to me!
