On Inkscape, I can't get my filters to work. The filters just ruin the object. This happens on all objects and across all documents, and I don't remember doing anything to break the filters. Could someone help?
Filters do not work the way you think they work. You think they "modify" your asset. They do not. They actually create a new asset based on your original. You need two copies of your original. Best method of work is to create your asset - ctrl d to duplicate it - apply filter to upper copy - hope the filter gives you what you need. It may take some time experimenting to get it.
