@TylerDurden Yes, I think it was a file size issue. The original file was 16.1 MB. Now, after you edited it, the size is reduced to 11.3 MB and the file opens normally. Thanks a lot :)

I have a problem with my SVG file. It used to open normally, but, all of a sudden after I added a few text to it. It gave me an error message:
Failed to load the requested file /home/elshimy/Desktop/group_folder/members/ismail/EGF starvation paper/figures/fig2/fig2.svg

Hint: Autosave feature was unfortunately not enabled when I created this file.

I'm able to open it ok.
Exactly how do you attempt to open it? Double-click? Or do you open Inkscape first, and then open it?
That file is huge. 30% can be eliminated by switching the scatter chart to a bitmap.

The file is 5MB of blank spaces. Not a valid svg.
