I recently started working with Inkscape and tried using the interpolate extension. The problem is that it just doesn't work. It doesn't show anything when I enable live preview and when I click apply, a little window pops up for a few seconds but nothing happens after that. I followed the instructions from several different tutorials. I made sure the objects I select are converted into paths etc... I then tried a different extension (Extensions > Color > list all) while having a blue rectangle selected. A window pops up which says: "The script has transmitted additional data. No Error has been transmitted by the script but the results shown may not be usable". And yeah it doesn't tell me what color the rectangle is.
I uninstalled Inkscape several times and tried using the Windows 10 Store version as well as the newest Windows 64bit version from the website (this is the version I have currently installed(1.0.2))
I am working on a Microsoft Surface Go with Windows 10.
I hope someone can give me some advice. If I should provide any more information I will be happy to do that.

It the Surface using Windows 10S, or did it get upgraded to full-blown Windows 10?
I switched off the Windows 10 S mode, so it is the standard Windows 10
