How do you erase the line after joining two shapes. I am new to a plasma table and when transferring a shape to sheetcam the line will become a cut line and don't want it to be. So how do you get rid of the line in inkscape.
I had two rectangular shapes that I put into a L and joined them with Control G but it still will have the line where I joined them. When I go to sheetcam the line ends up being a cut line. I need to remove the line so it will not be cut on a plasma table.

Use Path->Union instead of "Grouping".
I knew that it was a dumb question but I could not find it anywhere. Thanks it worked
