Sorry, I don't understand why you can't see the embedded image. The error message [bad reference] null_pointer does not speak to me. I took a look in xml editor at the image, but there is no interesting information, for me.
Perhaps (re) install inkscape 1.3 and reste preferences if it stull does not open the file.

I bought a file of Etsy. It has 60 .svg files in
I downloaded them but when I import it into inkscape its empty.

The svg image you have attached opens in a browser and inkscape 1.3 : it consists of an embedded png image of a jumping boy.
No vector graphic in this file.

Thank you. Im busy with Etsy where I bought the files. Apparently the files are bad and they are busy correcting it
