I've been using Inkscape on and off for years. Today, for the first, time, I tried to draw a grid, starting from an ellipse.
Got a grid. Then I deleted it to try drawing another ellipse.
I can't draw ellipses any more. If I try, I get a triangular path, not an object.
I can draw rectangles. I can draw stars. But not ellipses.
Tried restarting Inkscape. Same thing. Tried a different version of Inkscape. Same thing.
Inkscale 1.1.2, Unbuntu 20.04 LTS.
Uninstalled old version of Inkscape. Uninstalled current version of Inkscape. Reinstalled Inkscape from Ubuntu snap. No change.

Yes. Although that's not part of "Object properties".

Didn´t call it "Object Properties" these are the "Circle tool properties".
