I'm experiencing a great deal of frustration as I attempt to edit the CMYK settings on the fill of an object I created in my last work session. Can anyone please give me tips on how to change the color formulas? Every time I change the percentage of each color it changes.

Thanks so much for any pointers you may have. I'm just learning to use the program after having used AI in the past.
