I have a new surface pro and I am trying to get to my CDR drawings. I downloaded the inkscape app and then the dropbox. It is connecting and allowing me to browse my folders in inkscape both with file >open and import. But it isn't allowing me to access the files. I have tried CDR, JPEG, PNG and others. I can't even see the thumbnail for my files. I tried searching and it doesn't seem anyone else is having this issue. Is it because I am using dropboxS? PLEASE HELP

Which version of Inkscape have you installed? Was it the app from the appstore?
Yes it was from the app store. It is version 1.0.2.0.
