Greetings,  I'm new to Inkscape and this forum and will have lots of questions I'm sure.  So first question.  How can I make a asymetrical  shape?  In Procreate I can so a free distortion by pulling and pushing the corners.  Is there a way to do the same in Inkscape?\

    Thanks All,

    Ken

Well - what do you think how many users or helpers in this forum have experience with ProCreate a painting app for iPadOS which has what in common with an SVG editor like Inkscape?

In Inkscape you can do this with nodes for example:

One can also drag on segments and the object's bounding box.

Thank you Tyler, this is amazing.  Your demo is good, but done so fast it's hard to follow.  I got some of it though.  Any way I can slow it down?

Some gif viewers can slow them down, but in a nutshell it demonstrates:

    • Making a rectangle and using the transform handles.
    • Converting to path and using node editing tools like Polygon has shown.
