I'm using Win7 and Inkscape 1.0 dark theme. I'm having a tough time reading the blue text/dark background on the Font Family lists. Is there a way to "add CSS" to change the blue text to a different color? I'm attaching a screen shot.
I agree, the text color is hard to read against the background color.
I imagine the color is set in your theme, and to easily modify it, the theme should be placed in your user files. You might find that theme or a more preferred theme here: https://www.gnome-look.org/browse/cat/135/ord/top/ .
Once you have a theme in your user files, you can ask the developers where to find the style used for that menu.
I like the theme I'm using now (HighContrastInverse). This seems to be a bug. Trying to find a new theme, install it and then trying to contact that theme's developer seems to be pointless.
I guess I have to live with it. Thanks again Tyler.

Trying three different themes from the link you provided me, none of those themes change that text color.
I'd add it as a wishlist item in the issues tracker, then. Nobody can argue it's not easy to see...
I added it, although I'm not sure if I did it correctly.
FWIW, I reported it, but found out it has been reported 5 months ago.
