I have an SVG file that when imported to my CAD program looks just fine until you try to resize it. When you do that the image suddenly has a box around it that is far larger than the image itself. This box can be resized, but when you move the box size from east to west in order to make is smaller it also makes the North/South smaller. By the time you make the east/west small enough the north/south is too small to see. The image, not include the surrounding box is 9x9. I would like to get that 9x9 into a box that is also 9x9. I am going to attempt to attach the file so you can view it. Is there a way to achieve what I want to do?
One after another. If you want to crop the canvas/page size to the content select all - open the Document Properties - then go "Resize page to content".
