I wanted to creat a font of an imaginary civilisation.
Here what I've done :
1- I drag & drop a pixel image, I transformed it in a vectorial image.
2- I created a new font
3- I use my selection to create glyphes.
It worked twice, and it didn't work when there is a point or an accent. After, it didn't work at all. I select one stroke, I click on letter C, and creat stroke from the selection, and it didn't do anything. I'm lost.
I tried to do "kerning" after. It worked once. The second time, I had a bug when I click on the tab to do it (it freezed, a blank window is opened, and inkscape is closed) and I still have it.
Hello,

I followed this tutorial http://write.flossmanuals.net/start-with-inkscape/creating-fonts/ and this one https://fr.flossmanuals.net/fontes-libres/svg-fonts-dans-inkscape/
Somebody know how to creat a glyph with more than one stroke ?
I let some picture and my SVG file.
Goodbye !
For one path only that doesn't work
1. Select path
2. Path - Union
For more than one path that doesn't work
1. Select all paths
2. Path - Combine
3. Path - Union
Thanks a lot ! It worked ! :)
Hello again !
I tried to do "kerning" after. It worked once. The second time, I had a bug when I click on the tab to do it (it freezed, a blank window is opened, and inkscape is closed) and I still have it.
Do you have an idea to solve that ?
Goodbye!
It seems kerning doesn't work in Inkscape, maybe someone else knows more about it? I found some info here.

Maybe something like this would work?

I just came across this tutorial for making SVG fonts: http://myscrappinginspiration.blogspot.com/2015/01/extension-to-simplify-font-creating.html
