    Hello everyone,Β

I need to create a transparent frame for an Overlay Icon. I tried path difference, cutting out objects and other stuff for the last 3h. However, I have no idea how to proceed now.

    Β

So basically I have two Icons and one of them is a small overlay in the right corner. I need this to have a transparent frame within the bigger icon

    Help would be really appreciated.Β

When the bigger icon has an opaque background color you need to subtract the small frame from that background shape.

can you elaborate on that? My menu is in another language so there might be differences but I think I tried what you suggest.Β

I duplicated the smaller Icon and made it bigger (the smaller Icon consists of a group of several objects). I then put it where I wanted to have the overlay and used the object > cutting path > inverse cutting. The problem now is that either nothing happens at all or only a partΒ  of the small icon gets cut out in the bigger one
