Hello! I am very new to inkscape (only started using it a couple days ago) and wasn't sure where this question should go. I'm having an issue with a design. I created a rubber stamp logo and I want to place a stamp texture over the logo. I found a video on how to do so, but when I place the texture over the group and I hit path -> difference nothing happens. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Is it because the logo is a bunch of shapes grouped together?Β
Ok so far so good: You say you have a bunch of objects then you might try this: Put your vectorised texture upon the group select everything and go object-Clip->Set.

If you need it in vector your stamp texture needs to be in vector - otherwise Boolean operations wonΒ΄t work.
I vectorized the stamp texture as well

I'll try that, thank you!
You can also use textures as masks.
