Beginners' Questions Creating a crescent moon shape with an inner stroke

    Hi there,

Completely new to both inkscape and this forum, but I would greatly appreciate any help.

I'm attempting to design a logo with a crescent moon, one which requires very sharp vertices. I can do this successfully, but it needs a stroke, and the vertices are too sharp for a traditional stroke (the stroke points extend way too far and don't curve). I think an inner stroke would solve this problem well enough, but I've realizedΒ that inkscape doesn't have this function, and I can't seem to finagle it on my own. I've very little experience with vector graphics, and I only ever dabble in them when the occasion requires.

    Thanks again!
