Beginners' Questions Copy and Paste bitmap from Inkscape to MS Word in macOS Catalina

    Dear all,

    I am a brand new inkscape user. I have installed beta version in macOS Catalina. I am not able to copy and paste the bitmap from Inkscape to MS word. Any tips?

    Welcome to the forum!

    I'm not sure what "bitmap" you're referring to.  Inkscape is a vector graphics editor.  Of course it can export PNGs natively (and JPGs with an extra extension).  But copying an imported raster image (I assume what you mean by "bitmap") from the Inkscape canvas seems unusual.  Of course not impossible though.

    Can you give some more details about what you're doing?

    @chemvarun Thank you for testing the beta version. Please report any bugs you may find with it at https://inkscape.org/report so that those can be fixed before Inkscape 1.0 will be released.
