I unfortunately do not know how to convert text objects to vector units. They are not showing up on the computer of the person that has to use it, and they have requested the conversion.
Language barrier is there so they can't explain it to me properly. Can someone please help?
Not sure also, but maybe the person using it is trying to edit say the key M as text and it doesn't change. Well the symbol is not text and would require a different method of editing as shown here in section 2..
Possibly to verify this you could add one letter (text not a symbol) and see if it (that text letter) works for them.
Attached is page explaining the procedure to edit the symbol.
Image below shows where I deleted your M symbol per instrucions, modified the M and added it back as symbol. Do note user will still not be able to edit it as a text object. Just going on what I think is requested. Edit are they trying to node edit then object to path will work.

The picture depicts how they see it.
Thanks in advance.
