Guys i keep having issues with pretty much EVERY file i try to work on inkscape. It is very frustrating and is slowing me down a lot with my work.
I am downloading some icon files in SVG format from here: https://icon-sets.iconify.design/ Then i am using inkscape to make some modifications i need, and when i export the finished files to SVG, i am having issues all the time. In this case, the exported file
I am also confused by the inkscape dimension boxes.. in the Document and Page tabs of the export panel, the dimensions are set to 340 PX, but up in the toolbar on top they show 218px ?
Anyway.. the main problem is the cropping and the file displaying on the top left in the web browser.. firefox or brave is the same... But on my file manager or any viewer you can see the graphic displays fine and centered.
is there a tutorial or explanation for this so i can export the files properly?
I thank you a lot if you try to fix the file for me, but it will not really help me, as i need to work with other files next.. i actually need to understand where i am making the mistake or if this is an issue with inkscape and should use something else.
So i need to learn more about SVG i guess.. i assume the graphics i download, may have this and other XML settings that will affect the images when working or saving them for web purposes right?
PS.. how do you post the images on the forum? I do not have any IMG icons in my toolbar

To attach files, the paperclip button below the reply text area can be used, and files can be dropped into the text area. There are also buttons to put the attachments inline, thumbnails or links.
