Here I have a circle and need the outline of London's tower bridge to be part of the circle and need the bottom of the circle removed but I just can't figure out how to do it! I'm losing my mind can someone please explain how this is done? :) As I'm rubbish at explaining the above Ive also attached a crude sketch too of what I'm trying to achieve.

Adding a rectangle with snapping and Path->Difference is probably easier:

@killer, I forgot to activate my click display... a double click adds a node at the pointer location.
