I don't seem to be able to download Inkscape on my MacBook Air macOS Sonoma 14. i have an M2 chip and when I attempt to download the dmg file for arm64 architecture the download starts and then after 3 seconds I get a "Failed" message. Is Inkscape not available for the M2 chip?
Sure it‘s available - I run it on a M1MacMini since its release and from my understanding there‘s no difference between M1/2/3 ragarding the arm64 version. I‘d try again. I’m under the impression yesterday the Inkscape website has issues - perhaps „maintaining“ under the hood.

This seems to still be the case, and is apparently not just affecting Mac downloads. I'm currently having the same problem trying to download an installer for Windows. The exe, msi, and zip packages all fail to download with a network error.
Does anyone know of an alternate download location?
I am also unable to download the MacOS x86 installer, download fails on both Firefox and Safari with the message that "the network connection was lost".

This won't help Mac users, but I was able to install from the Microsoft Store.

I downloaded the MacOS files without issue, as seen in the image above.

Someone had been DDOS'ing the website and that's probably the root of the download issues.
