I want to fit a text into mountain shaped object with Text > Put on Path,but the text is put on wrong side of object. I want to put it downside of the object, but in the result, text is put on object upside like this

Can I put text in path that is not full circled shape in the position that i want?

You can put text on any path, but sometimes it is useful to use a path with no fill or stroke.

Before that, I want to ask you why when after i put text on path and i move it, the result become like this

When I move it horizontally, the path move further to the side, leaving behind its original position. The same can be said while i move it vertically. If this happen, then how can i flip vertically or horizontally the text without the path leaving its original position. Should I move it and then reposition them?

Edit: I have positioned the path exactly in the center of object vertically and horizontally, i don't know why this could be happening?

After putting text on path, I only move the path object, the text object will follow the path.

Hey.... I just searching for the solution for this problem and i find it. You just need to put on text on the path, and then click only the path object and click Path > Reverse. It will make the path and text rotating and be placed the way i want, just like you said when you move only path, the text will follow.

And for the main problem of this question, i get it now how to do it. Thank you for your help @TylerDurden
