    grapics card amd radeon 5700hd

At first you need to work in pixels (25x25px) and make sure to export it as a selection=25x25px

Thank you poly! Do you know if it Is possible to change several rectangles at the same? And is this a units feature? Thank you in advance will try when get back to pc :)

Changing units can be done for all selected items. But it won´t help to establish an even number in pixel size. If you want many to have the exact size you can use Object->Transform and adjust Width+Height in the Scale tab for each object separately in 1 go. If this is what you´re after. I can imaging script gurus can do a lot more in this regard.

hello again, thank you polygon that fixed the issue. just one more minor problem, see attached image:

its rather difficult to see but the outline of the rectangle mainly on the cyan is slightly darker and exaggerated depending on which monitor its displayed on. the stroke paint and fill are identical and the stroke width is a pixel. any further help appreciated.

    thanks in advance, johm

they are very small, unable to see what you are highlighting

You can upscale the PNG in a viewer to any size to check if there´s any anti aliasing and enable the grid in the Inkscape SVG to check how it´s set up to maintain its pixel perfection.

Oh I see my apologies. Checking now, thank you :)

In the objects it appears you merged the 3 colours, how is that possible? Apologies for noob question and time. Also did you change the scale? Thanks again

Merged? These are 3 separate color filled shapes aligned to a 1px grid. I take that size because it come in at this size in Inkscape.

My misunderstanding. Would you mind explaining step by step your approach. I'm just not sure what's been changed. Apologies again and thank you

Do you know if it Is possible to change several rectangles at the same?

    Maybe the Pixelsnap extension?

When I mentioned merge I was referencing the objects see attached photos. On the drawing supplied by polygon, only 3 objects which are labelled as paths where as mine several objects each being a rectangle. (Hope this make sense) I'll do some more research on paths.

I can do it with rectangles as well but it´d be 4 then with with overlapping from your extract.

Would you mind explaining what you had to to perfect the drawing?

As per the uploaded file: Use px as units make a 1px grid proper aligned to the page size and let all strokes/shapes snap to that grid. Don´t use any fractions in the pixel size= 1.76px for instance.

Perfect! Only problem I have is that I've already made 18 drawings that will need recreating...oh well lol. Thanks again for all the help :)

Just a quick update..the designs are now perfect and a lot quicker to draw. Thanks again polygon!!
