I'm pretty new to Inkscape, and cannot find any online tutorials for the problem I've encountered:
> I traced the bitmap of a single colorย png image and, as far as I know, cleaned it up well, then made an even pattern tile that should be able to repeat seamlessly.
> I have already tested my pattern the only way I know howย by exporting as a PNG, and the lines didn't go away.
> I have turned off the stroke around each tile and lined them up with the snap toggled both off and on.
> I've tried making really thin strokes so they disappear after exporting, but to no avail.ย
> I also started the pattern from scratch.
> I need the pattern to be on a gradient background.

I am using Inkscape 1.1.2. Please help!
Please share anย Inkscape svg file for evaluation.
Sorry about that -- here's one
Actually, it *is* stroke lines.
Note the stroke on the path 3064, the pattern basis.
I copied one rectangle from the original file and pasted into a new document, then used Pattern to Object.
Pattern with stroke removed.
Also some bad mojo in the original, making an invalid SVG.ย I'd copy the good bits to a new document.
Awesome! That helps a lot, I didn't realize I could look under layers and objects. Thank you so much for the quick response
