newbie here. Am trying ( over several days ) to use Inkscape to create a simple button for another program: DVDStyler. It's just a simple block of text on a transparent background. Had enough problems with all of that. But my sticking point is that Inkscape wants to use base64 to reference something and the link is ridiculously long , causing the other program to throw a wobbler.
Is there any way to not use ( prevent using ) base64? If not, I'll just have to find some other way of creating an SVG file.
Oh, and Inkscape trying to force me to save my SVG as an Inkscape SVG is a pain in the neck.
Hi Tyler, after yet more hours messing about with it in various programs to get it as clear as possible ( so to hopefully make it easier to do ) I'm now trying to share it on this forum. I have also sorted the problem ( which was in the technique I was using to update the 'type' suffix at the end of the program. It had to be changed to xml from svg but I was only changing the suffix and not the type of file ). Sorted out the way I was changing it, works in DVDStyler now.
But would like to know how I can share on this forum ( for future use ).

All the best,

Is there an embedded bitmap image? The vector stuff should be pretty small.
Share an example svg file if you can.
