New to Inkscape working on Linux. Inkscape version 1.4.2. I created this design with diagonal shapes. Each one has a 5 pt stroked path along the edge. All of the diagonal black paths look sharp, except for the two I've encircled in red. I used nothing more than a simple path for all of them, stroked at 5pt in black, but these two look jagged no matter what I do. It doesn't matter what resolution I export. I noticed that if I change the angle they can appear as sharp as the others, but I need them where they are. Can anyone offer an explanation or solution?
Actually, when I zoom in on the screen the aliasing effect is evident on those paths even in Inkscape. Do I just have a lousy monitor? :-) . I've exported at 300dpi as jpeg and png and seen the aliasing.
I've attached a shot of a zoomed in view in Inkscape. The vertical line on the left is sharp. The one on the right, not so much.

Of course, in the SVG there are no aliasing artifacts, they appear when exported or displayed.
Where are you seeing the jaggies? What format bitmap at what pixel resolution?

It could be your monitor. It doesn't look bad to me here at 1920x1080 and higher.
Thank you. I'll see if I can look on a better display.
