Using Inkscape with Other Programs Starting with DXF, needing to convert to png or jpg

I've got my logo drawn in AutoCAD and saved as DXF. The appearance and layout is correct in autocad and all hatching is right. I've saved it as 2010 Autocad DXF and 2018 Autocad, but when I open in Inkscape I find that nodes are not connected in the curved sections, and the hatches go all screwy. Upon further inspection, the lines are shapes which can be stretched and scaled. I've converted (Path>Object to Path), then select the paths as beziers in order to join them as a single line. You can see from the video that the nodes seem to overlap and I (think I should go through the process of) combine nodes but there is no success in closing the path: the fill goes way off. Any assistance is much appreciated.

Combine is a boolean operation for paths, not nodes. http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/Paths-Combining.html

To join nodes, I'd use the join-nodes button in the node-tool controls.  http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/Paths-Editing.html

Feel free to share the dxf file, and we can tale a look at the hatches.

Our designer who can probably take a couple minutes for this is not here today, so I'm appreciative of any assistance provided. I have Inkscape, but only because it's not worth spending money on me for Illustrator and Photoshop.

Regarding the file/issue: I also can't select the two outside rings of circles left of the text - they should be filled also. Take a look at the attached file to understand the problem. Many thanks and Happy New Year!

    Here ya go.

The design included open paths, and open paths that were combined and needed doubled nodes joined. The circles in the array were symbol objects that needed conversion to paths to simply edit/fill .
