I'm trying to upload an SVG to Wix, it claims it cannot use an SVG with an embedded image. I have tried both linking and embedded on Inkscape and it accepts neither, I even saw a tutorial online for removing embedded images, but when I followed it, the image was blank after i was done. How do I create an SVG with no embedded image files so that I can use it on Wix
Ah - ok - that translates simply as don´t use SVG as an image container. If you do some editing inside Inkscape to the bitmap, export as raster graphic is the only option you have here then.

I wonder what trickery in the XML editor is necessary to make this work.
There´s always an xlink:href entry which can´t be deleted. There´s also an id:image which can be deleted - but I´m not sure it will help you here.
