One of the things I use Inkscape for, is making coloring pages, or maybe someday, a coloring book. Ideally, the profits would be donated back to Inkscape project.
Mostly I only have skills for making abstract drawings. But I've connected with a few other people who might be interested in make other kind of drawings.
I'll attach a few examples. Hhmm, I'll have to put a white background on them first.... I'll be back shortly with example.
Edit
Ok, let's see how these show up on that dark gray background....
I hope by the time I ever get around to figuring out how to put them into a book, Inkscape will have a store where we can sell custom things -- custom artwork, clothing with custom designs, calendars, etc, etc. Right now, all we can do is sell a limited set of products with a couple of different logos.
funny, i was thinking "wonder what other inkscape users are doing for coloring book usage" and of course my search pops up something @brynn has done. Great work! I've been working on some vector objects to use in coloring pages! (Sample attached)
I love your use of repeated patterns! I would love to learn how to do that for some background work i've had in my head. :) Any tips you could give?

Oh cool. I've been thinking lately about drawing coloring books for adults too. I was thinking an animal line, like cats.
Where/how would you sell it?
I'd be happy to contibute if I ever come up with a decent design.
Brynn, those are nice! Let me know if you need drawings for the book; I will gladly make something.
Wow these are amazing brynn.
Thanks everyone. I'll keep you in mind.

Hi there @brynn, I love the designs. Quite incredible. I would love to know how you did the interwoven rope effect in the last image.
that's cool! but I was wondering why filter like mesh gradient doesn't rendering well on web browser?

I’ m looking to print my own fabrics for dollhouses. Just starting with Inkscape.
Hello Brynn,
Nice drawings! I hope to make a coloring book too. Making coloring pages is my passion.
