The forum search box is not a satisfying experience. It fails to find content that I know exists. Without a search function, it's impossible to retrieve the wise advice I saw here, somewhere under all this junk. We end up repeating ourselves far more than we should.

Normally I resort to google's site search, but now that's broken too. Google has deleted their index of Inkscape's forums:

Hopefully someone has alternative search strategies to share.
