Using Linux Mint Virginia 21.3. Trying to Use Inkscape 1.1.2 to cut vinyl on a small chinese Qinheng Electronics cutter MT361. Checked that Driver for this is loaded CH340 serial converter. The device is identified recognised) on USB0. An Able to use Inkscape to produce out line of a solid object and send this to path.. In Extention I go to plot and on this page set serial port: /dev/ttyUSB0, I have changed to Bard rate to 9600, 8 bits ,stop bit 1, Parity None, Hardware X ON and OFF. and the message I get is unable to open port.
If anyone can suggest a solution before the remaining hair disappears from my head it would be most welcome. Other than use a windows computer
There is little information avalaible on the web for the cutter you purchased (actually I did'nt find any). I guess the extension you mention wasn't intended to work for this Qinheng Electronics cutter MT361
