Hi, sorry, do not know the right idiom for the german "Zugausgleich". I define it seperately for each object. If I want to use it on an other fabric, I also must change this compensation. Doing it for every object is a lot of work.
Is it possible to define this compensation as global? And the compensation as an relative offset for each object, if differs from the global values?

No, not at the moment. But possibly in future. See also your other thread: https://inkscape.org/forums/embroidery/global-parameters-for-shrink-compensation/
This is actually something that is currently worked on and will be a feature of the very next release (at least for satins, possibly also for fills).
Thanks. I will keep it in mind.
And sorry for the second post. I thought the first post has not been sent.
A global pull compensation factor or value does not make much sense, it depends on the given object.
Smallness, wideness, density... and its position resp. synergy in the whole project.
You'll always have to stitchout several test until you are satisfied with the result.
In my case typical values vary between 0.15mm and 0.4mm.
