Hi, in order to help a friend, I tried to make .xxx files from Ink/Stitch (she has a Singer machine).
Unfortunately, her machine shows two linked pictures (doublet) which she cannot use because the total exceeds the frame area allowed. I thought it was because of the formating of the USB key but it is not (FAT32). Obviously, the .xxx file produced with Ink/Stitch is corrupted. Is there a get arround : what do you suggest?
Yes, Kaalleen, thank you for your prompt answer. You are surely right. The pattern is a locomotive. I opened the svg file in Illustrator (which I am more familiar with) and I could see the two locomotives (they do not show in Inkscape). Removing one still makes a pattern nearly 20 x 20 cm. The biggest hoop size is 13 x 20 cm and the smallest 8 x 8 cm...
After bringing the size of the locomotive down to 6 x 6 cm, it should work! Will let you know.

It sounds as if the design is too big for the hoop?
What size is her hoop and what size is the design?
