Can anyone help?? i have made a gcode of text to cut with cnc on the neje app when i open the .nc file there is lines from the sharp points of the image to the bottom right hand corner it looked something like this image i have uploaded.

The lines are not there when i had completed the image and i also moved the image then made a box to check for any hidden nodes but nothing there. can anyone help please? thanks in advance.

Hi. In Inkscape, are you using more than one layer? Are any objects grouped together?

Try View > Display Mode > Outline. Do you see the unwanted object then?

Can you possibly share the svg file you are using?

hi. Thanks so i have set the preference size. got text tool and put a name then object to path then combined each letter then select all to union then used J Tech Photonics to create g-code but i seem to be going wrong as error messages come up then when i open the file on NEJE i get a error saying unsupported on a lot of the lines. i will try upload to show you. thank you

Hi, again. Were you able to find your svg file? If so, when you changed the View Mode to Outline (as shared previously), can you find the squiggly  object as you posted earlier? If you cannot find your svg file, can you duplicate the same creation steps ... and result in the same problem? Which Inkscape version? Operating system  details?

hi no i cant find that file. I did change to outline but still could only see the image made. I did the same steps again but the lines changed slightly but still ended up at the bottom right corner. Its version 1.0 with extension J Tech Photonics 1.0 so I have tried...  checking for extra layers but only 1, outlined the image still not seeing the lines, The letters are grouped together. Operating system details ?? do you mean what am i uploading the image to? 

If in Inkscape, you re-did all your steps and still cannot find the "extra" lines (squiggly or not), I would think the issue is with the extension you are using. If you export your svg to a png file, do you see the same "extra" lines?
