Hi. I'm impressed with Inkscape and I am still learning how it all works. I use it to cut patterns on MDF for model making and so far have been able to put it into Gcode for my cheap CNC router to give me an outline to cut. Saves me tracing onto the wood and gives a better finish but I still use the scroll saw to make the cuts. Two things I would like to be able to do which is instruct the CNC to make several passes at increasing depth so it will go through 3-6mm deep and also can some lines go .5mm as well as others going deaper using a single instruction set? I have noticed that the code that is generated "Stroke to Path" with "Dynamic Offset" causes the router to go over the same line 4 times. I am using a cone bit 3mm dia. 15deg, 30mm shaft length and a Z = 0.5mm, shape "W" and Depth Step "1". Any help greatly appreciated. I'll still keep going to learn this thing. Thanks Graham PS. Love using the Bezier tool.
