Using Inkscape with Cutters/Plotters Exporting to DXF with filled shapes

    Hi everyone,

    I'm pretty new to inkscape and I've been trying to get a logo ready for laser engraving. Whenever I try and export to a DXF file, only the outline of the logo shows up. Is there a simple way to make sure the lettering is filled in?

    For some clarification, I want the output dxf to look similar to this, with all the lettering solid:

    Instead when I export to dxf I get this, with only the outlines showing:

    Any help would be really appreciated!!
