I bought a Mimaki cg60sr plotter. It doesn't want to communicate with Inkscape. The previous plotter was configured as Inkscape/extensions/export/drawing/connection settings/serial port/COM1. The same does not work with the Mimaki plotter, because it does not use a COM port, but a USB port. However, after extension/export/drawing/connection settings/serial port, I type USB in vain, it does not communicate with the plotter. I have attached two pictures of this. What could be the problem? What am I doing wrong?

I wrote it with a translator, I apologize for the mistakes.

Have you read my answer here

Are you sure it is a USB-Port? Sometimes the USB-Port on a Plotter ist a COM-Port.

WIN use a COM- instead of USB-Port if a converter was built into the plotter.

    Thank you for your help.
I am using Windows 11. In the device manager, if the plotter is not connected, picture 1 is visible. If it is connected, picture 2 is visible. If we click on "MIMAKI USB 1.1 Data Port Controller", the following windows pop up, which makes it seem to me that the plotter is using a USB port (pictures 3-4).
I still don't know what to enter in the field for the serial port.

Have you set USB1, USB2, .... USB9 or somethink like this instead of COM1 in Inkscape?

It shows an USB 1.1 Controller, not the port number 1.1. It could be that WIN 11 do not like these old controller. Is it connected on a new USB3.?-port or an old 1.1?

    Try USB7 instead of COM1 (picture 2 (L4) Port_#0007)

Or look WIN 11 "setting -> Bluetooth and devices -> Printer and other -> other devices" or device manager

    -Yes, I tried COM1-COM15 or USB1-USB15 instead of COM1
-It is connected to a USB3 port

I know 4 different problems, get during installing a plotter and use with Inkscape.

First the OS does not contact with the cutter. This is a device problem.

Second the cutter is connected with the OS, but not with Inkscape. This is a problem with the port setting. Both you get an info from Inkscape that you will pleased to control the contact of the plotter.

Third the OS and Inkscape are connected but the value in Inkscape are setting wrong.

Here you get an info something with phyton and the wrong setting.

And if you have a Vevor or Black Cat cutter forth the values in Inkscape are OK, and the OS and Inkscape are connected right, but the value setting in the cutter itself is wrong. Here Inkscape sent the file to the cutter without any info although the plotter does not work.

Which info do you get from Inkscape, when you send a file from Inkscape to the plotter.

Have you set the right device in the plotter itself. When I use the Vevor or Black Cat I have to set the serial port inside the plotter by using the plotter menu. Have you put a mat and / or the knife holder into the machine? I can not test the Black Cat cutter without a knife holder.
