Hello, I'm begginig  with Inskape. I'm willing to create a files to use a LASER cutting machine. I  drew shapes with freecad and I exporded them in SVG in order  to modify them with Inskape. I have changed the width of the lines and curves and I have created paths.

Now I need to change the color of the paths in red (R255)  but I can't manage it. I tried to do it on recangles and circles and I can't color (neither fill nor stroke). I checked opacity, layers opacity everything is correclty set at 100%.

I don't understand the trouble.

What happened instead when you click a new color from the swatches in the bottom of the Inkscape window?

It does'nt work even  when I choose the color that way.

I reinstalled Inskape and I'm still facing the same problem... I really don't undestand what happen'd because I srictly follow the exlanations I see in the tutos.

It is probably a wrong setting...

If somone allready had this problem and can help me to fix it.
